driving home last nite at 3 a.m. i removed a cat that had been struck by a car (cars) from the middle of the road, obviously someone's pet. i had passed it going to my destination and almost stopped to do it then. so on my way back i stopped and pulled him to the side of the road. needless to say i cried all the way home....




update: i called animal control weds. early am to let them know the cat was there. they had come to get it about 2 hours prior to my call. at least he'll be disposed of properly and go on the DOA list at animal control so the owner may be able to find out what happened.
