Ugh, just got suckered into moving a buddy to Portland....funny thing is...HE LIVES 8 HOURS AWAY!!!!

Which means, I get to ride back with him, then drive a car back...I hate driving, but like roadtrips, go figure! I guess it isn't all that bad, since I have NOTHING on my agenda! FML! lol

Saw Dethklok & Mastodon last night. Both were remarkable. I especially enjoyed Mastodon and have wanted to see them for some time now...they melted my face off! Brent with his eletric 12-string, being a guitar player myself, it was a special treat! This was their first date for their tour, you should DEFINITELY go see them if they come to your town!

Well, I didn't get in this term (cause I'm a fucking lameass procrastinator and I blame SG chat for distracting me, lol), so here's hoping for Winter! FAFSA done, now to hone in on which classes I want to take...did I mention I hate structured learning?

I was an excellent student in high school. I was in all Advanced Placement classes except for math, and anyway, I went to college, I was accepted at the only school I applied to (because it was the only one I wanted to attend)... I had NO idea what I wanted to major in, so I took general courses until I thought I would figure it out... well, it was a disaster. I have to be interested in what I'm learning if I'm paying for it, apparently. I still did well, but I lost interest and quit after three semesters because I felt like I was wasting my money on doing a bit fat nothing. However, I also didn't like that I had to study at home so fucking much. Basically, I hated college although I liked the freedoms it allowed.

Good luck with all that. I don't envy anyone who has to deal with FAFSA shit.

Well, the move yesterday was short lived, just long enough to buy some beer and sit down, then got a frantic call from my GF saying her car was stuck in the middle of the road, in first gear.. Long story short, her transmission is dead, fun times! Now she gets to take my car to work and I'm stranded...ugh mad
