that was a good story about your friend and her stuffed animals. i'm kinda like that too, with inanimate objects, only not quite as extreme. i've noticed that since i've started living alone again, i'm finding things at thrift stores or wherever that represent people. like a little statue of a woman, or a wood carving of a man, or a goofy handmade store sign with a giant bluebird on it. these are my new friends, so i don't feel so alone.....
