i know i don't update often, that's because i've had a site that I regularly update for about 7 years now (http://blankdisk.mervernation.com). So if you're somehow desperate for the happenings of my daily life, that's where I stick em.
THe other day leaving work, a co-worker was following me in his 68 Chevelle. He's done a lot of restoration to it, and frequently says that it's faster than my Miata. Maybe in a straight line. But after the 3 turns leaving base, I put about 50 yards between us, from about 1. See kids, forward power isn't everything. If you can't turn the damn thing, what's the point? Being a young male that drives a Miata, i take a lot of flak for it. Miata's are usually college girl/middle-aged gay man cars. I mostly hear, "Miata?! That's a girl car!" My response is always, "meet me on top of Sandia Crest any day, and I'll show you what my girl car can do." As of yet, nobody's taken up that challenge, but it's a very serious one. If anyone wants to try me, please. I'm not out for blood. I'll be happy no matter what the outcome, because if I lose, it means I miscalculated. It's a learning experience. Even if you don't want to race, but just wanna go for a drive to compare rides, that's fine too. I'm all about education.
