Pretty good weekend
Friday night my special-man friend and I had a dinner and movie night. We went to In-and-Out burger, got a 12-pack and watched cheesy horror flicks in anticipation of halloween. We watched 30 days of night, which was pretty cheesy, and 28 days later, which i kinda liked, minus all the rapey undertones at the end. The rest of the movie was good though.
Saturday we slept in, ordered a pizza for breakfast and finished off the 12-pack. That afternoon I got inspired by a friend of mine and began the process of cleaning every glass piece i own. Some of them were pretty gross turns out! I'm still not completly finished but I have made some serious progress and they are looking brand new again. Later that night we went to my favorite neighborhood drinking spot and rounded off the night with more beers and good conversation.
Today was filled with errands, working on a logo for a friend, and continuing the cleaning process. I went to Goodwill to look for Halloween costumes/ideas and got nowhere. I was hoping to make my own costume, but i still don't have a solid plan, so i might have to get creative here pretty soon.
My birthday is in a week, probably going to spend it with a small group of friends at the local bar. Possibility to going to a good show the night before, but i'm not sure yet, I'm a last minute kind of gal, we'll see how i'm feeling that night
My special-man friend is going to make me dinner, i'm excited to see what he comes up with .
for an early birthday present, i ordered a new phone, which should be here on Tuesday
I am finally going to have a modern phone!! Yays!
