How are we doin td SG Land? Hopefully enjoying some nice warm weather~ It's been pretty rainy + cold over here in the North East this week but I'm hoping for that summer weather to arrive sooner than later! We are officially 2 days into Gemini Season ♊ which means my birthday is one of, if not the biggest thing I'm most looking forward to! It's gonna be quarter century birthday aka my 25th lap around the sun aka those are just some funny ways to say I'll be 25 on June 7th. 🎂🎈🎁 I have a cute little birthday dinner that I plan to celebrate with friends + loved ones that I hold near & dear to my heart. I also have a gorgggggggg hotel room than I plan on retiring too afterwards to fully enjoy the food coma that is bound to happen 🤤😋 ahaha.
Outside of that, you know the academic grind never stops so ya girl has not one, not two, but SIX summer courses she's signed up for. Feelin' scholarly af as that BA finish line quickly approaches 🎓✏️ I finished up my spring semester on Tues the 20th & I will be going into hibernation + resting before my summer courses start on the 27th. I'll be taking some courses specific to my major/minor but I'm also knocking out some electives. I'm particularly excited for the Psychology-Autism & Philosophy-Religion related classes I signed up for.
All work & no play does not make for a fun time though so whenever I don't have my head buried in a textbook, I hope & plan to get out of the house + photosynthesize a bit. Take a trip or two out to the beach bc who doesn't love a good beach day filler episode?! ⛱️🌊☀️ or maybe head out into the big apple & cosplay being a tourist. There's still so many parts of the city I have yet to explore and with my classes being online, the summer is the perfect time for me to seize the opportunity + get to know the place I soon hope to call home 🗽 (but more on that later 🤫🤭)
