wow...long time since I've done a posting. so here it goes:
More douche bags to deal with. more assholes and dumb whores. It's been a week. I don't wanna talk about it.
Instead, I'll mention that I'm either really outta shape, or my knees are starting to get pretty fucked up. Went roller blading for the first time of the season yesterday (now that it's nice enough out). My neighbourhood is NOT roller blade friendly! Turns out my apartment sits at the very top of a very very big hill, and the rest of the community falls away downhill from it. I figured I'd start easy and just go for about 15 minutes, turn around and head back. half hour in total...well, it took me 5 minutes to get to the bottom of the hill, on my break most of the way and took me over 25 minutes just to tool around and work my way back UP the hills. Ugh! And there's still a few to many really fine rocks on the roads...my brand new blades, are a little thrashed now from slipping on the rocks, but it's all good. I like my blades getting that way....gives 'em character.
Today my knees were a bit stiff (not to bad) from my uphill battle. Today was also Paintball (starting at 9am, gah). And guess what....the paintball field I play on has LOTS of hills! Running down was easy. Jump, plant feet on an angle and power slide down, while jumping and sliding from bunker to bunker (yes, when I play, I play rough. Not just run to the bunker and crouch, I vault over things and dive into bunkers to avoid being shot). heading UP the hill wasn't quite as easy. Fuck my knees hurt now. And one of the fields is a town with towers, buildings, catwalks, bunkers and such, in order to see through some windows without being seen you have to put your back against a wall and bend your knees about half way (like sitting on a chair, without the chair) that's a hell of a work out for you knees and legs! but I love it!
So all in all, despite the douch bags, assholes and stupid whores of the week; roller blading, paintball and stiff knees made up for it all! I'm in such a great mood today. I'm so glad it's finally nice enough out that I can get out and do stuff again! And now, if you'll all excuse me, I'm friggin exhausted, so I'm goin' to bed! Hope all you kiddies out there had a good weekend!!!
