BUY NOTHING DAY IS UPON US
Hope all of you have been able to free yourself from consumerism thus far. I'm glad to say that I've done my part. Almost wasn't able to...it's feeding day for the snakes, and I need to get a live one for Onyx, but luckily she's going into a shed today and can't currently see, therefore can't hunt. As for the other 2, I've got their mice in bulk, so I don't need to become a brain-dead consumer today on their behalf.
Sadly tho, I was unable to find out if there were any BND events going on around Calgary (credit card cut ups, zombie shop walk, free samples of "nothing", Wal-Mart protests, etc) so it mad today rather easy and meaningless. Oh well, guess that just means I'll have to come up with something for next year. But hopefully some of you have encountered some sort of BND event in your outings today.
