I'm planning a photoshoot with some pyromaniacs who are a firespinning team here in Houston. I would love to use a model from here. Anyone up for the challenge?
420 is right around the corner, this weekend in fact, and although I do not smoke jazz cigarettes, I would love to do a shoot using them as a prop. You guys let me know. I just got two new lights, and and itching to find my first muse to put in front of them.
The dust has cleared, the transition is finally complete and I am finally settling into my new life as a photographer. They were right! It's not easy to be a photographer here in the city, but it probably wouldn't be worth it if it was easy. I've been establishing myself as a fashion photographer here in the city while maintaining portrait, and event work to...

I've been tooling around with the warrior concept for quite a while now. So when I finally left Japan and arrived in San Diego, I had to get in touch with a great friend of mine who happens to be a make up artist. Jane is a friend of an ex girlfriend who I introduced to her husband back in 2007. She is a make up artist and hair dresser working in LA, I contacted her and we collaborated an this idea. I felt a bit strange going into make up shops, and buying costume jewelry. We created quite a few custom pieces that went perfectly with the concept, but ended up leaving them behind because I wanted to go drinking the night prior. Gotta love LA right? The pièce de résistance was the make up and the headdress which was custom made by Jane. It was amazing in the sunlight. I hope you guys enjoy this project of mine, I hope to revisit it again later this year. This was shot in SoCal in Cabazon, CA.
Knocking out a really exciting photo shoot this weekend in Cabazon. I've always wanted to use the windmills in a shoot. Shot these to show the model, and make up artist the location. (manly squeal) So fucking pumped! Will drop the photos when I'm done with them.
I've been working on this idea all day. Just can't seem to get it right in photoshop. The fabric won't blend together seamlessly, and I can't get it to flow off her foot naturally. The goal of photoshop is to make people wonder if it's photoshopped or not. To look natural. I'll come back to it tomorrow with a fresh pair of eyes. Any suggestions?
So a new SG friend just got me to thinking about this. Does it sexual preference really matter when compared to a person's happiness? I'm not gay... although a chick with a dick did give me a hard on once. Thats besides the point. Why do people give a shit what other people do with their lives? If a person wants to be gay, I...

So in my quest to become a SG Staff photographer I have PM'd over 50 people in the Texas area. Out of the 50, one response. There has to be an easier way than this. If you have suggestions hit me with them.
