Wow. I just ran into Rye's first set, and there is a tag on there that says, "This ain't the 70's, shave that bush, dammit!"
To the lovely gentleman or lady who left that comment:
FUCK OFF.
Feel free to hold opinions as to whether girls look better with or without hair, but don't order women to shave. Personally, I don't give a damn if a girl has hair or not, whether it looks good depends on the girl, and on how comfortable she is with it. And dude, have you ever shaved, personally? It itches like hell, that's half the reason girls with hair like it that way!
Garr. Fashion stinks. It's bad enough that people expect you to dress and act a certain way in public. Trying to dictate how a person should look on such an intimate level is just insane. There is a big difference between commenting, "I'm not a fan of bush," and "Shave that bush". Express your opinions, but don't force them on other people.
As far as I see it, hair down there should follow just the same rules as hair up top: it's gotta be functional, preferably shouldn't get in the way of important tasks, and you gotta be able to look it the mirror every morning and think, "Damn, I like that".
Now. If the person who wrote that crap happens to stumble upon this rant, I would also like to point out that recent winners of the Miss Erotica competition had exactly the same hairdo as Rye. So there. Hot strippers and gorgeous pin-up girls alike can get away with hair like that, so you can keep your damn orders to yourself.
