So I had a really nice thanksgiving weekend at my cousins farm. they have this nice little log cabin with a fireplace and a couple of horses. I ate way too much of course. but only for a few days.
I also slept in the walk-in closet on an air-matress due to lack of room for family members. I volunteered to do so, and it was awesome. its like when you are a little kid and you make a special corner for yourself with some blankets and pillows and your stuffed animals.
I got to just cozy up in there and read and listen to my headphones and write out lists of things I wanted to do and It felt very nice.
I also made a walking stick for myself while i was there. I used my dads swiss army knife to take off the bark from a large fallen tree branch. and then I went walking with it. up and down the dirt roads, up woodsy hills and in fields. it was pretty nice. like i was a hobbit or something on a journey.
oh and we played lots of board games of course, which i love because im a nerd.
and I also did some photography and made a collage out of magazine pictures and words.
I had a really nice, relaxing weekend for the first time in a long time.
