I'm training to run my first marathon every in October. Its kind of a strange activity, running. I almost always run alone, so its very isolating, but also a good space to think about things and just let my mind wander.

I've been burning out at work, staying till 10 or 11 many nights trying to get this living wage analysis finished. But man, I'm tired.

I went contra dancing the other night, which, while not quite as big as in MA, was a lot of fun. I got seriously dizzy and sweated about two gallons of water out, but got to spin hot-ish 40 year old women around all night.

People: dancing is a lot of fun, you should do more of it. Especially you young people.

Ok, I'm sort of waffling around, not really knowing what to do. Life is good so I can't complain, but it's harder to think of interesting things to write while its happening.

It's freaking hot here.

This weekend I'm going up to Taos to BBQ with the fam, spending one night at my dad's and one at my mom's. Should be nice. Plus, I rigged it as a business trip, so I get gas expenses paid. Awesome.

I want to do something fun and crazy in ABQ, like wander around back alley's and explore hidden areas.
