what a great saying! i think that validates my entire existence, however it doesn't help my wife to understand me any better.
we bought an assload of new furniture in the past few days - well I paid for it, my wife picked it all out, we got a couch, recliner, dining room set, bedframe and mattress, desks and office chairs, kids beds, and other shit that that woman needs to feel complete. this weekend she is going to spend more money on stuff for the house - curtains, wall hangings, anything she can think of to spend more of my money!
i bitch about her sometimes but i'm glad i can provide for her and my kids the way i do, i would say i'm lucky but i don't believe in luck, so i'll just say i'm fortunate.
to any women that should happen to read this entry, remember this - a successful man is one who can make more money than his wife can spend, and a successful woman is one who finds that man!

Although I suppose now that I think about it the man I am with now is very wealthy. I tend to forget that as we both live a very simple lifestyle.
I can't decide if I like the changes or not. Everything looks and feels very different. Maybe I'll just have to get used to it. I am glad to see so many people I knew still here though.
