i will now wear skirts more often.

i've always been a jeans + tshirt kinda girl. but i see girls in skirts and they're soooo damn cute. and now that it's winter time, i can pull out those thick tights and knee socks!

target has a few cute knee length skirts right now. they also have alot of clothes i'm not sure how to wear. shirts that look like dresses but that are actually shirts.

i'm not about to do that footless tights thing. i'm waiting for that to go out of style with the 'i sat in bleach then rubbed it on my thighs' look. yech! horrible stuff.

i think the best way to shop for skirts (and dresses *gasp* i'm gonna wear those, too!) is to go shopping in a skirt with the shoes you'd be wearing with them. nothing says nobby-knees and i need to shave my pasty white legs like a pair of old sports socks barefoot in a dressing room mirror. i've had much more success in the happiness department while wearing tights and a pair of mary janes when shopping for said skirts (and dresses). hehe

and this dress sans white shirt. it's really cute, but you can't see the big black buttons on the straps and pockets. very nice. and it's even down to my knees! at 5'10" most every dress is way too short. great find, i think.
