that show i watched had alot to do with the babies and children in the last 5-7 years and how Chemobyl has affected them from tyroid cancer to so many other birth defects. babies with huge tumors on them and grotesque deformities and it was really just heart wrenching. it made me

Well sparky...I'm around for the weekend. There's a chance I might head up to A-Town to watch football at my friend Doug's house. He always comes down here, so we try to mix things up a bit. Besides, there's an awesome beer distributor and record store up there. Hell, if you want to go for a drunken Road Trip up north, lemmee know that too.

I always thought 'Black...' was a Nina Simone song...? Didnt realize it was a folk ballad. The Twilight Singers version is fucking fantastic. It's on the EP of the same name, as well as the new covers LP that comes out this week. Im a fucking HUGE Afghan Whigs fan, so it drew me in like flys to shit.

The initial prequels to the Dune novels were pretty good. They followed duke leto as a child and such. The newest prequels deal with the Butlerian Jihad some 10000 years before dune. The machine war stuff....not too bad, but also not too good. Interesting, yes...but they encompass too much. Next year, herbert Jr. should come out with the post-Chapterhouse novels. Apparently they found Frank seniors notes on a novel after Chapterhouse...very detailed, etc. Now that should be cool.
as for tonight, Im heading down to AC. we've got a hotel room at Bally's for free. So, why not? Should be fun....
