Been on a 3 day funeral vacation.
My cousin died the rock star's death at 27, even though he wasn't much of a star, though he did like the rock. ATV accident, over 50 contusions on his brain...he lived for a month before dying last Friday. Sad shit, though I am not particularly sad, fore I don't get sad really. Ok, no need to explain further.

I cut the grass in my yard today.

It's time to look up recipes for dinner.

The initial prequels to the Dune novels were pretty good. They followed duke leto as a child and such. The newest prequels deal with the Butlerian Jihad some 10000 years before dune. The machine war stuff....not too bad, but also not too good. Interesting, yes...but they encompass too much. Next year, herbert Jr. should come out with the post-Chapterhouse novels. Apparently they found Frank seniors notes on a novel after Chapterhouse...very detailed, etc. Now that should be cool.

as for tonight, Im heading down to AC. we've got a hotel room at Bally's for free. So, why not? Should be fun....
