so many delusions of grandeur. well, not really, but being a big dreamer, and being depressed usually arent a good combination. well, i suppose depressed is a stronger word than i should use for my mood, but still.
i talked to my X again, and maybe that the root of my problem. i knew she had to have another man by now, but now that i know for a fact puts me in this mood i'm in. its a real sad story though, she told me he got shot in the stomach recently by some asshole for trying to keep this guy from beating his girlfreind to death, and i guess the bullet exited at the base of his spine, leaving him partially paralyzed. god that must be hard for her to deal with.
so i guess the mood i'm in would be kinda bitter-sweet. i'm glad she's found someone that she loves, but it still kinda hurts, not really bad at all, i have to much to keep me busy right now to have any time to focus on it. but what she's dealing with right now. having to deal with someone you love almost getting killed. jesus.
but like i said, its in the back of my mind right now, i'm to busy practicing with a few guys, and hopefully, i'll be in a band that can last long enough to play a show, unlike any of the other "bands" i've been in, that and i got my Ampeg V4-B all tube basshead with a matching 2x15 cab. so i got the tools, now i just need to get used to the style there playing.
and on top of that, i have 7 months to restore and complete my 65 pontiac lemans, so i was doing a little more work on it yesterday. well, work as in taking the inner door upolstery off, because its the original from 65, and after that, the engine is going to get a serous tune up, just to see if it can run, if not, its a parts car, if so, then all the trim, the windows, and the top come off, go to the paint shop, then reverse the whole process with a new white vynle top on a midnight blue paintjob. hopefully this will be done on my 23rd birthday. then after the systems in, its going to be my pimp ride for the weekend.
