Ah-Ha!!! I knew my work was up to something!!! They were up to being lame!!! Or me being lame? One of the 2. Ratings came out today for us...I came in last again. Since I went up .1...yes thats how much my ratings went up. I've had 3 rating periods. 1st- 18.2 (Thats when I came in 2rd) then 2.4 and now 2.5. Since I went up they cant fire me BUT this is what was said to me "Well since you did go up we are not going to let you go just yet. (WTF!!! We are making some changes, so with every station change there is always staff changes. (The oh so big change is a move towards more classic rock)We are going to move you to morings to run the board for the new morning show the old morning show will now be the afternoon show. So starting next monday you will start to pre-record your whole show till we deicide what we will do with it." So starting monday I will be work 6am to 10 am and an occasional weekend. Yup 4 hours of work at $9.30 opposed to what will be my old hours 7 hours at $7. Well it looks like I'll be leaving Pirate first chance I get. Hopefully I can stay in the area. Hell...I think I'll apply at a 7-11 or something. I also learned where the money that my raise came from. The firing of a friend of mine. Awesome move ya bastards. If they thought I had a bad attitude before holy fuck are they in for a surprise. I know some of you are probaly cursing me out because I'm being a dick about having a job when alot of people dont (that is really NOT my intension) and how it's my fault that my ratings went down so much and yes some of the blame is on me key word being some.
But look at it this way. If you were a listener which show would you rather listen to.
My night show: I dont talk much so I can play more songs (examp. Less Talk More Rock)
No prizes.
No Features.
Nothing special.

The other night shows: Nightly Features (examp. Cage matches, A new song v.s. another new song where you pick the winner, that type of stuff)
Prizes.
Fun Stuff.
I would do these things but I have no controll over anything but what I say. Everything I just mentioned comes from above. Anytime I bring up these type of things to the powers that be they get shot down. So the blame is not all mine.
