So it looks like I back in the saddle again and playing wing man for boy Sonny Ray. He's starting a new night at this spot called Loreley @ 7 Rivington and asked me to come through and hold it down with him. You may have been to some other parties there especially if you are into the sccene that's coming up around Last Night's Party. I'm going out this weekend to pass out the Flyer but I wanted to invite all of you.

Last night I saw Bloc Party play at Webster Hall!! It was fucking amazing, it is in the top 3 of shows I've seen this year. Sharring that honor with The Meters who are still my favorite band of all time that I've seen play. If you get a chance to see Bloc Party, fucking go!!

A childhood friend is coming into town this weekend that I haven't seen in a long time. He too joined the Navy afer I had and before that we were friends kinda by default seeing how there were almost no other black kids where I grew up. I met him while I was getting my ass kicked in a fight by three white boys, he was riding by on his bike so what was happening jumped off and came to the rescue. We have been friend's ever since, although we fell out of contact. So this weekend should be interesting, he still lives in my home town of Elmira, NY. We shall see...Flyer
