Well what a weekend for me. I got a lot done, and didn't have to travel far to do it. I'm looking forward to a long hot summer.

I think about the war and the political powers that be, and I'm angry and numb at the same time. I guess that is exactly how they want us to be. Mad enough to fight, but not made enough to change the way we fight. The world is changing, spinning faster and faster out of control. To the victor goes the spoils, and when the music stops I hope I'm still standing. It's too easy to sit back down, and fall back asleep. It's never going back to way it was, so I think it's up to us to make it something different.

I look at all the names on my friend's list that are no longer apart of SG. I remember when and why they became my firends, but I never knew why they left. One day their names are grey and that's the last you know of them. Sometimes it's not, but chances are....

I'm trying to decide why things are important to me right now. Because I do believe that things are going to change in my life and that I will have to make a choice. It's funny when things happen around you and you realize that a choice is coming. A single unifying event that other people will have to make choice about as well. As insignificant as it might make me feel to be aprat of something that is bigger than me, I realize that now more than ever I need to decide what things in this life are the most important things to me. Including people.

I'm very happy that so many of you had a good time at the party and that people enjoyed the 4th of July. It was as much freedom as I could ask for I suppose, we did have a naked silver guy running around with us. I tried to write everyone and thank them, but too little time and so many people make it tough. AGAIN I WANT TO THANK EVERYBODY WHO CAME ON THE 4th, and let people know I appreciate it.
