YO, it's offical. I'm getting the green light from above I'm going to make my way driving across country this summer in May and June. I was going to go to New Orleans and I can no longer make it due to poor timing of money issues. However I have a friend who lives in Kansas and is going home at the end of MAY. I have to be in San Diego from the 29th - 31st, so why not drive across country and make a trip of it.
When I was working as a tour manager I drove all over from Canada to Florida and made it as far west as western Tennessee. However this will be my first time driving west of the Mississippi. I'm fucking excited. So the next task on my list is creating a trip, and finding places to stay. The only goals I have are visiting the Grand Canyon and spending time in the desert.
Does anyone have any suggestions or know of places to stay or have a couch?

Also does anyone want to come? I'm easy to travel with and down for the company. That and it helps with the costs. I need to actually look into prices and figure out what is best. The other thing is that I may drive out and fly back depending on work and time available.
