Tonight in Park Slope I'm hitting the town. Going to roll into the city for the weekend and tear it up and the head back to the mountains on Sunday. HIT AND RUN BABY, Catskill style!!
Tonight the Brazilian Girls are playing a free show in Prospect Park, do it to it if you are in the neighborhood. After that the after party or late night is going down at South Paw where Akoya Afrobeat Ensemble is throwing down with DJ Concerned. I'm going to dance my ass off for sure.
Tomorrow night DJ Concerned and company (including yours truly) will be holding down the fort at Rose Live Music in Williamsburg for the Back To Brooklyn Party, the 7th in what is Williamsburg's best kept monthly party secret. If you don't know check it out!
I'm tempted to go to the movies on Sunday since there are none in the mountains. A few things I want to see for sure, Hancock, Wanted, etc.. Not expecting much outside of typical summer blockbuster movies, but should be fun to see.
