NYCers & dog lovers -- Anabel's taken in an abused pit bull and needs help finding a no-kill rescue org who can place him. This sort of thing both breaks my heart and makes me so angry I could KILL the people who did this to him all at the same time. How could anyone abuse such a sweet dog? How could anyone abuse any animal like that?

I swear, I'd be all about public executions for people who do things like this. And the first person on the list would be the one who left my kitten and his brother (3 weeks old) locked in a box in an apartment building basement storage locker to die. Here they are recently, having a playdate:



My friend who found them took in his white brother. I bottle-fed our boy and carried him in my shirt for about a month. He was smaller than the palm of my hand. Seriously, do you think I would hesitate for even a second if given a chance to rip off certain crucial body parts of the person who did that to them? And not to be stereotypical, but I'm guessing it was a guy (so guess what's coming off?)...
