News flash!

My store opens this week. This has been a labor of love since the beginning of the year, and I have nothing but adoration and praise for everyone who's been helping me. From the models (wait til you see who), to the artists, to the programmer and designer friends ready to step in and help when I needed them... I couldn't have done it without them!

The online store is called anezka handmade - check it out if you like indie/DIY-style accessories, handknits, jewelry, bath, paper and home stuff...

I'm also looking for Cleveland-area artists to start a retail / gallery / performance space co-op, something akin to as220 in Providence, RI or Zeitgeist in Cambridge, MA. Drop me a line if you want to know more.

Even more exciting news: this Wednesday, a major NYC arts publisher is having an editorial meeting to sign off on my first book! (well, first to be published, anyway...)

If approved, it will be out fall 2005, and I'm planning a cross-country tour with some of my friends. Think extended road trip / book tour / rockstar-style fun!

Now do you see why my journal updating is low on the priority list?
