Nope. I feel the absence of loved ones like wounds. I see people being nothing but ugly to each other. It's fucking sad.

Agreed. And everything on TV/movies portraying the season seems to suggest that "it's a wonderful life" and all is joyous and light, while the reality is usually anything but that for a lot of people. The dissonance is just too stark to ignore.
