so I got a call last night at 3:02 am from the Victim Services last night informing me that the guy who was charged with sex abuse against me is now released from jail. he served his time and is now on two counts of probation. I didn't think it would bug me so much when he was released since he has no clue who I am or where exactly I live but it really really did. It has been a few months I suppose and I know from talking to them that he will be on probation for the rest of his life pretty much since it was a sex related offense. He will always be a sex offender so I will be getting calls at 3 am telling me if he moves or whatever.
I haven't started Crime and Punishment yet.
Or my Xmas shopping.

Man, the way the justice system works is just beyond me sometimes...I'm sorry to hear that asshole is out, and especially that the service would call you at 3am like that. It seems very callous to me, and must have been a terrifying shock...but at least you're in the know, and I hope you start to feel safer soon girl. I finished that sketch of you today, so I wanted to share it with you...and well I hope that it manages to at least cheer you up a bit xxx
