This is something my 7 year old niece wrote at school today. It just tickled me so I decided to share it. Yes I know I am biased in thinking she is a future novelist!! I am going to type it verbatim. I don't want to take away any of the charm. Enjoy!
Dear Mr. President.
It is wonderful being the first kid on the moon. When I went to the moon I got out of the spaceship. I saw a alean. It was big Green and had one eye. It was bigger then me. Then we went home. Then I went to my house I had a snack. Then someone knoked on my door. I went to the door. I opened it. It was the alaen that was at the moon. He asked me if he could stay with me. I said "OK". And that what its like to go to the moon. the end
