who are they you may ask.. well let me tell ya.
I missed the last bus to the train station last night which is a mile away.. sure I could walk it.. but it was raining really hard.. An older black gentleman (Tyrone) in his 60's said his sister was coming to pick him up. If I didn't mind a packed car I could get a ride to where I needed. HELL YEAH>>>> wooot.. So they show up and they make me feel like I'm part of their family.. I don't think I've met anybody nicer than these people.. They were all over 60 and very personable.. The Lord had taking the Asthma right out of Tyrone who suffered from it for years he tells me.. Oh.. kitty got a really cool inhaler that is purple.. They asked about my family and my job and really seemed to care. I got to really liking these people in the short mile that I was with them. Just when you have given up on society and the way people treat each other.. along comes 3 older black women and Tyrone who cared enough that I was stuck in the rain. ONce again.. I'd like to say thank you for restoring my faith in humanity.

Every once in a while genuine and cool people cross your path. Faith in humanity is a fragile thing, easily lost and even easier to diminish. A top-up now and then is necessary...
