He had a call from his surgeon (he gets to go private through his work, so less of a wait and he gets treated better, woo!) so the surgeon will make a consulatation appointment for him soon, and then the bypass will be not long after that.

Ok, so dad had this big test today, and apparently he has lots of little blockages, as opposed to your normal one or two big ones, so rather than chuck a load of stents in there, they're doing the bypass.

Ok, so, mum has just got back from visiting dad. They are keeping him in til about Wednesday, then they'll transfer him to a different hospital and do an angiogram, and depending on the result of that there are three outcomes:
1) he'll have to go on medication
2) he'll have to get a stent [thing to englarge bits of your heart or something]

So. My Dad's in hospital overnight tonight. This is all news to me but apparently he's be having chest pains lately, so he went to the doctor and got some pills, went back today and they referred him to the hospital, and they decided to keep him overnight to do soe 24 hour monitery test thing.
