Oh, almost forgot to do a Dad update for those who are interested.
He had a call from his surgeon (he gets to go private through his work, so less of a wait and he gets treated better, woo!) so the surgeon will make a consulatation appointment for him soon, and then the bypass will be not long after that.
If we get enough notice beforehand, I might take a couple of days off work to help mum out because she tends to get stressed over these sorts of things. so it'll be good to be around to make sure the house is in order and nip up to the shop and stuff.
I have a bunch of driving lessons booked up, and I'm going to clear out my laptop so I can run the practical test simulator my dad got me and hopefully be able to pay for my theory test when I get paid [23rd] and have that out the way by the end of the month. Think I'll look into how to get that booked up tonight or tomorrow. Anyway, that means I can start driving asap which will also take a load off mums mind.
