The Inverness Adventure of Wonderment and Joy: Part the First.
WARNING: this is going to be a picture heavy post. Although, you're on SG, so I don't think that's really an issue. Just being polite though.
SO...back from Inverness...here's how it went....
Friday, I was in a bit of a flap in the morning but it was all good and we headed off around 11. went to Tesco to get munchies and things and then we were on our merry way. Not many photos from the Friday I'm afraid, but here is Tim driving:
And here is a caravan. Caravans were not or friends on our travels.
I actually have that picture saved as 'Tim Hates Caravans'. Because he really does.
That's all the Friday picture....exciting stuff, eh? Well, we got to the hotel, checked in and Tim was shattered from all the driving, so he crashed out for a bit, then we ordered room service because we're awesome like that. Watched some telly and munched.
Saturday was far more exciting and full of pictures. Brace yourself....
We had some breakfast in the hotel to get ourselves geared up for the day. Unfortunately we got there just before they stocked up the fruit salad, but I had a yoghurt and croissant, and Tim ate his weight in haggis and a fry up, and we got to sit at the window and watch the snow fall.
First port of call for Adventrising Saturday was the Black Isle Brewery. It was only a 10 minute drive from the hotel, and the wee woman that gave s the tour was lovely. I want to be like her when I'm a wee old betty.
She took us round on a wee tour and then Tim bought some beer and tablet.
We then began our quest to Urquhart Castle.
After a wee filmy thing and a gander through the gift shop, we headed to look at the castle itself. Cleary the logical order to do things in....
First stop was the trebuchet. This is a big flingy thing, used to kill things.
BALLS!! baaahahahahha
Tim miraculously turned into a unicorn....
Oh no, it's just Tim's head, the trebuchet and some stealthy ninja camera angling trickery managed by yours truely. HA!
Tim's new friend. I didn't go look in this. It was labelled 'Prison' and was a wee dark hole. Fuck. That.
Tim's Castle Face:
There is one of my Castle Face, it's really something special, but I don't have it as Tim hasn't uploaded from his camera yet because he hates me. Prick.
Can you spot Tim?
More Castleyness
Possibly convincing enough photos to try and get my nephew to believe I spotted Nessie
More castleyness and a Tim
Notice Tim's WTF!? face in this one...
Then he realised what I was doing...Tiny Tim! Har!
IMPAILED!
I then clambered into the that wee hole to take this:
We then went to the Dovecote. I didn't know what that was, except for the name of my local Beefeater. Tim expained this is where they kept all the doves...
...and I decided they kept them in there to sexificate with them. Sex Doves - oh yeah. Here is Tim contemplating dove-vag
I nearly sat in the mud taking this picture for him
Obligatory 'coupley' shots

Yes, we are very mature people.
TIMSFACE!
MYFACE!
Bahhahahahaha
Castleyness
Time to head off as we had pretty much been all over the castle. I decided to Paparazzi stalk Tim...
...he wasn't impressed.
Emm...yes. I'm not sure what he's doing here either...
Before we left, we went back to the gift shop where I bought this bad boy:
Next we went to a nice wee pub for a spot of lunch. Look how impressed Tim looks with me taking a photo of him.
After some noms, we got ice cream. Tim got 2 scoops of honeycomb, and I got a scoop of strawberry and cream, and a scoop of WHISKEY ice cream. oh my GOD it was awesome.
Tim wasn't impressed...
After we munched or fantabulous ice cream, we went off to a Loch Ness Monster exhibition. No photos of that because I was too scared and clinging to Tim's arm as I don't deal well with cavey things. It was good though, quite interesting if cold.
Headed back to the hotel. I crashed out like a kid after a birthday party. We were going to head into town and catch a movie, but we were both pretty wiped so we stayed in bed and watched tv.
Tim looking impressed again. Beginning to see a theme?
Bedtime Ninja
Right, that's that for now. I'll post the sunday pictures tomorrow as they are still on mum's laptop.
Peace out bitches.
