Okay - I want to get something straight because I got a nasty-ass, very mean "anonymous" e-mail about the fact that I have so many SGs and girls I don't actually know listed in my "Friends" section and then I was accused of being a staker and a creep for doing this...
NO, admittedly, none of these people are my "friends" and probably would not qualify as acquaintances....I've had some nice e-mails back and forth with some...nice banter in journals...or on the boards with others...that is it....
NO, I do not suffer from delusions of granduer and think that I am going to date or sleep with any of these girls (although if that happened then those would be some lucky girls to get me)....I'm too grounded in actual reality for that.....plus, I'm probably not any of their type...
I use the "Friends" section as an index or table of contents....I list people who have journals that I like to read on a regular basis...sometimes I post..sometimes not...sometimes they post here...sometimes not...but it is easier to click on the "see friend's pages" button and get them all in a list than to jump from page to page trying to remember all the names....so I choose and easy path to use the system and it gets me a label....great...
Yea, sometimes people take me the wrong way or do not get my sense of humor.....or think I'm serious when I'm being sarcastic.......but I've been here about a year....made a lot of posts and I don't think I have stalked anybody yet..or creeped a girl out...if so I apologize profusely as it was not my inent...
I'll say this,,,if any member or SG ever wants me to delete them from my friends list I'll do it in a heartbeat...if they tell me not to post in their journal I never will....easy as pie..
with a site like this I know girls have to be VERY careful....I know there are real creeps out there..real stalkers...real people to worry about....but not every guy is like that....some of us can be nice and friendly and kind....and this may shock you...but you wanna' know why????....because we really are nice and friendly and kind........you know, on three occasions three different SGs asked me for $$ help...and I helped them - no questions asked,,,,nothing asked in return,,,,,nothing expected...because I was being nice...helpful...of course after the fact I barely got a word from these people...from two not even a "thank you"...but I just moved on.....I just stopped communicating with them here......if someone posts in your journal or sends you an e-mail...or heaven forbid..lists you as a "friend"...maybe they find what you have to say is interesting or witty......it doesn't always mean that they want you to blow them.....if they do something nice to cheer you up...maybe they are just nice and compassionate.....doesn't mean they want to hit you in the back of the head with a brick and tie you up.........
...if I'm branded as some stalker let me know...I'll leave the site.....I just thought I was the nice, older (yet still handsome in that Sean Connery kind of way) guy...
