FINALLY.......Valley Girl is released on DVD - a special 20th Anniversary Special Edition. 
Yea - I had it on VHS but this has all the bells and whistles including a 20 year "return" feauturette with alot of the cast. Nic Cage gave a lot of imput into the movie and his teen role.
The only odd thing is that Debbie Foreman who was my first major crush
is not in any of the follow ups which is very odd. I know from her web page and message boards that she has been involved in reunion film discussions and was heavy into the push to have this released on DVD but then she is not interviewed. Odd.
If you have not seen it go watch it NOW. Anf then go sing some Plimsouls songs.

I just bought that dvd too, along with Thrashin'. I'm obsessing with 80s California I think. the best part of the special features was finding out what shape Nicolas Cage had meant to shave his chest hair into, so weird. I'm glad it has so many special features, it makes the long wait for it worthwhile.
