Mitakuye Oyasin, Where do I start? I had a great weekend, friday I went to see a fine show starring Deke Dickerson. He is kinda western swing/rockabilly type cat. The scenesters were out in droves reminding me I really need to learn how to dance. (flailing while drunk off my ass dosent count) Saturday I stayed in the lab all day and evening thrashing on my car stopping for a while to watch a nearby house burn to a carcass.

This was a little unnerving because I live in a heavily wooded area and it has been very dry lately. I took this picture from the top of the hill (next to my house) and the fire was near the bottom wich is about 3/4 of a mile away as the crow flies. It was quite a show too, things exploding, firemen shouting, sirens. Just like my birthday party but without the booze.
Now that it is March it is time to quit fucking around and put in some serious hours on my car. I leave on the 23rd. for Viva L.V. and upon my arrival some serious cutting loose will be in order. There will be 4 or 5 hot rod's going in our group, but I do need a co-pilot...................that is bat country!


p.s. I was feeling saucy and wanted to change my favorite S.G.'s but the confounded system requires I pick five, however that fifth space can never be re-filled ( NALA ) so my question to the audiance would be does my top four have a default #5 on your side?
