Three days out of town makes for a short vacation, but a joyous and painful one it was.

The first night Beth and I went on the "Haunted Pub Tour" where we get to hear ghost stories and drink at 4 different bars in town. The first bar I had the urge to drink a boilermaker. So after spending $8 on two beers for us, and $6 for my shot I chugged away and had a nice warm feeling in my stomach. That's when the guy next to me says, "Crown Royal for me, and another shot of Jack for my man over here."
I knew those words would be the death of me. I didn't really want a shot of liquor, I wanted to just have a boilermaker, and just sip beers for the rest of the night. 4 bars in 90 minutes isn't going to leave me a lot of time to recover between stops. Of course how could I refuse a shot? I paid $6 for mine, and he's buying me one for no reason other than to be friendly?

So after that shot, we spent the night buying eachother rounds of beer, and wow did I get really drunk. Two shots of Jack was enough to tear my stomach a new one the next day though.
