Ok, updating. I know I write 80,000 journal responses a day, so what's one more?

DUDE! Can I just take this time out to say that I am so happy SG is diverse and accepts all sorts of different models? I was supposed to be in this fashion show at Club Lamia this saturday. The producer accepted me and sent me an invitation. Then they email me back and say they can't accept me because I don't have the standard model body. Um, excuse me? FUCK OFFFFFF!!!!! Ok, yes, I am only 5'2, but for fuck's sakes, for being half Asian I am the tallest woman in my family!!! And I know i'm like 120lbs, but i'm toned so it either has to be leg muscle or my fat ass, because that's the only part on me that's fat. Damn. That sure gave my self-perception a bloody lip.

I don't like the norm of model beauty. I find it somewhat surreal. Not everybody can fit those ideals, and nine times out of ten they're ridiculous standards to begin with! I like the girls here on SG, they're really beautiful in that genuine, human way, not in a way that's artificially Barbie. I don't know, i'm just being bitchy, but it's like they knew my body measurements from the start, there's no reason they should have accepted me to get me all giddy and then write back saying i'm not what they're looking for, that's kinda fucked up. But whatever, I really don't fucking care, this site's a lot cooler than that place anyway, and besides, I heard Club Lamia sucks. BOYCOTT CLUB LAMIA FOR ME!!!! lol. Besides, I am still doing the AIDS benefit fashion show, unless THEY write me back saying I suck too, which they might. Well I hope they don't, I really wanted to help out with their cause.

I'm gonna go buy a Maxim CD. Word.
