Went to the hospital...stayed there for most of the day. Apparently I was severly dehydrated. Am doped up on heavy amounts of vicodin. A friend tried to make me tell a story so I could maintain consciousness and I could not pronounce the word "architechture" or "jurisdiction" but perhaps I am not spelling those things right either...
Was attended to by two very pretty nurses...hallelujah! Got my first IV and that was not fun. Finally, something went inside me after nearly 8 months and it was not a pleasant sensation...genius! Was handed a "call nurse" button drenched in dried blood that wasn't mine...Laid down on a stretcher next to some man behind a different curtain that was vomitting, and that is never good.
Felt like I was on my deathbed, as I was losing consciousness...remembered Natalie and when she said she wouldn't be afraid to spend the rest of her life with me, how we talked about how if we got married, she would do the cooking and I would do all the manly things, like fix the car or do the electrical wiring...
My friend is coming over with chicken soup...whee!
I do not like the effects that vicodin causes, even though it is one of the things I must get as part of my prescription, I will not take it unless abolutely necessary. I don't like taking medicines needlessly, I try to keep my system as pure as possible...it has something to do with some things a sorceress I met on Haight street taught me long ago, but that is a different story for a different day.
I think I will pass out until my friend arrives with the chicken soup.
