I can't explain to you the complete euphoria i've been experiencing. No heartbreak, no crazy women, just me trying to work on my writing and lots of daydreaming of Ann Bannon's stories. I'm having a love affair with San Francisco. There are so many nooks and crannies of the city that are lovely to be in and walk through when you accidentally come across them.
I'm going to start taking myself on dates. Tori Amos said that she does that and that it's fun. I just purchased really cheap student discount tickets to the SF symphony for the season...the cost averages out to like 14.50 per performance for 6 months! I'm going to love this. Once a month i'm going to get dressed up in fine black clothing and run away from all of the bullshit into Bach's loving arms. The music will kiss my eyelids and make all of the pain go away.
It's a good thing, to be on this sabbatical. I feel so at peace when i'm not pining after a girl or suffering from her sadistic ways, it feels good to just live and breathe art and not be so hard on myself. I think for the first time in my life i'm starting to actually be good to "the girlfriend within." It's like emotional masturbation.
Speaking of which, there is no greater joy than just coming home, dimming all the lights. playing some cheesy r&b and fucking the shit out of yourself for at least 2 or 3 hours. It's lovely, so so lovely. Try it sometime. Tell me when you're done and you look at yourself with flushed cheeks and smokey eyes in the mirror afterwards that you haven't done a beautiful, wonderful thing.
WHY AM I ROGUE FROM THE X-MEN??? lol. Remy Beauchamp is the only heterosexual man I am attracted to. lawwl. HE SPEAKS WITH A CAJUN ACCENT FOR GOD'S SAKE!
Maria and I are going to have what we call "raging dyke night" and that involves renting Tomb Raider so we can marvel over Angelina Jolie taking a shower. lawwwl. Maybe I can trick her into renting the X-Men movie too. It has nothing to do with "raging dyke night" wait yes it does! I think the girl that plays Rogue is cute.
I send my love, sugah **pushes over diesel truck and flies away**

If I were a comic book character I would be Tank Girl!
1. The 17th St. Hill - Go up to the top of 17th St. Turn left and veer to the right onto Clarendon. About half a block up there will be some stairs next to an apartment building. Go up them and enjoy the view. Bring a lunch and someone you like.
2. Go have lunch at the cafeteria at the SF Art Institute on Chesnut and Leavenworth.
3. Saturday afternoon opera at the Caffe Trieste on Vallejo and Grant.
4. Visit the Mechanic's Library on Post and Market. It is a beautiful thing. Marble, books, chess, neat stuff. It's like being in another world
5. Who cares if you believe in anything or not. Spend a Sunday at the Church of John Coltrane. Services at noon. Currently located at the corner of Gough and Turk, but check first. They have been known to move. Music is the one true religion.
