THE PHOTOGRAPHER SAYS:
i like to be up front about my shoots so theres no surprises for the models.
i do give the model a CD with the images, after i've edited them, color corrected and and adjusted exposures. and you are free to do with them what you want. i'm very easy to work with, but as you would expect for a photographer at the level i'm at, i do look for details, i see body lines, facial expression, feeling, composition, lighting, etc... so it may seem that i am picky, but how else can i keep raising my level of art.
in return i need a signed model release. my goal is to some day have a gallery showing of my work and perhaps a book too. i don't allow models to bring escorts as ive had to many bad experiences with models bringing insecure boyfriends, one even brought her dad (sheesh) another one brough her whole family. so i said forget it, no more. i figure if a model doesn't trust me, then i don't want her to shoot with me. i am happily married and i only want to work on my art, nothing more.
let me know if it works for you. sorry, i hope i don't sound like a debbie downer, but i am honest to a fault and this way when i do the shoot, everything goes smoothly.

(Unread) No you did not scare me off, and i like that you are upfront. So I am, so let me say that I am not looking for TF shoots right now. Also I have a problem with any photographer that won't allow escorts. You figure if a model doesn't trust you then you don't want to shoot with her? Inexperienced models should't have to feel obligated to trust a man they do not know, regardless if he is married or not. I know I wouldn't put myself in a situation like that , but some girls would risk it. I think that is very unprofessional of you. I don't like your arrogance nor your attitude about models. What do you expect from girls who aren't professional? Girls you aren't even paying? For a photographer "at the level your at" you are not someone I would ever work with.

There is no reason why a photographer should ban the notion of bringing an escort. I'll give the guy the benefit of the doubt and say he's not a rapist or a sleezebag (it's a stretch, stay with me). He still has forgotten the golden rule of making the model feel comfortable in order to create an atmosphere of creativity, spark, and life to make the photographs really shine.
Okay, getting off my damn soapbox now.
