Hey thanks,! Yeah, it was a pretty good birthday, nothing happened to completely ruin it this year, so I'm happy. I went and got the outline done for the rest of my sleeve today, so that's awesome. And since it was broken up into two sessions I get to look forward to more tattooing. This excites me because normally it's a long time between tattoos for my broke ass, not to mention this is all for trade, so no out of pocket cash!

New Math, was a great band and they were attached to capital records for a time, but felt the tracks that they recorded for them were to slick (Diana, Johnny on Top, Dead of Night, and a few others) and broke up... Only they quickly reformed as Jet Black Berries and recorded 3 cowpunk albums before spiting...
We don't release stuff any more, we figured that 5 years was enough time to put into Reanimator, and we started getting into a lot of non-horror/Pscyhrotronic music and just felt it was time to move on. We talk often about releasing more stuff, more New Math/Jet Black Berries stuff and more Forbidden Dimension (who released 3 albums, the last 2 with a full proper band)... but money, and mostly the fact that we don't know that we could get a distro who would be albe to sell them and get the records out into the world keep us from releasing anything new...

Does Pennsylvania have a "Make My Day" law like Colorado does?

Great Colorado imagery there: the storm off on the plains.
Feeling a little under the weather. I'd hoped to hop back into the Burroughs group here over the weekend here. Hard to be thoughtful, though, when you can't think straight. Rest asured: unlike the Burroughs image of Benway wearing women's clothes in the lifeboat as the Titanic sinks, I haven't abandoned the ship.

concert experience as catharsis.....eloquent as usual, sir.....i knew david eugene a hella long time ago....used to live next door to him on the hill in what was affectionately called the drugs bunny houses (long since razed and now a condo)...he lived there with his then-bandmates (pavillion steps, later bloodflower)......good kids they were.........i now realize i need cathartic experiences (positive ones) more often...keeps yr chin up.....later, friend.....

Wish I could help out - but I haven't been invlolved in the St Louis music scene since 98 or so. And nearly all of the clubs that I had taken up residenc in are gone.
