Good luck with your degree, it'll definitely be worth it. The work on my neck finishes just under a regular collar, and was carefully designed for that very reason. The only thing I'll have tattooed below the wrist is a thin wedding band, and no one could really complain about that, but for the majority, yeah, wrists and neck are good cut offs. Also, you may find (which I have) that a white shirt won't really screen what you have anyway as it's blackwork, so in your case, long sleeves won't make a whole lot of difference I think colored shirts look a bit better anyway

PS I just remembered, for sleeves, the best cut off is mid-forearm, so you can then still always roll your sleeves back aways without scaring the Suits with your ink I'd love to extend mine into sleeves, but the design itself just doesn't allow any real expansion

I can repeat the design down my arms again, and it looks okay, but that still only comes to the elbow (and still not much coverage of the bicep or triceps) so that's possible, but I can't really expand it down the back, as the bottom of the design is very 'final' for want of a better term, and also, on the left side is a scar that I wouldn't want tattooed over, but I like it as it is. What I'd really like done are some bands around my thighs just above the knee which would include elements from my existing tattoo. My fiance suggested we had wedding bands tattooed, and that's in a state of flux at the moment, but will probably be a thin band of blue Japanese shading.
