So yesterday was fun. I went to an Art opening that one of my friends was showing at. The art was..um..OK. There were a few good pieces but the cool part is that I met the girl that runs the gallery and I talked to her about showing some art there. It is a cool little space. I met a few of the other artists as well and it was just nice. I went solo but I happened to see a few friends of mine so that was cool. I really want to get more involved in the art scene around here. It is small but I am not trying to do this to be a professional artist. I just want to show some of my work. I think it would be cool not to mention that I would like to DJ at some of these openings as well. I have DJ'd at one art opening so far and it was fun. My music can be all over the place and people are a little more open than playing for a dance crowd. You can play listening music.

What can I say about today except that I have to work today...aurgh Its cool though cause I am going to LA tomorrow for the B-Boy Summit Finals which is a massive dance competion with some of the best B-Boys from US and around the world. It is a must do once things for any self-respecting dancer...haha



UPDATE: So I am at work and it has been ok so far. It is sooo slow and the place is empty which works out for me cause I can get some of my work done. I was planning on staying after work to do some scanning but I was able to finish it already and it took me about 2 hours so I am glad I didn't have to stay later to do it. As it is I get off @ 11:30 so staying 2 hours after that would have sucked. I still have a lot of work to do when I get home. I am helping my friend Lucas out with a small self-promotional booklet he is working on. I will get credit and he and I may be working together more in the future and may also work together on some projects for this small gallery. I am really excited about that. I love collaborating with other creative types because we all have our strengths and weaknesses....

I think I am going to rest tonight so I can get up early and go to the b-boy event. I just know I am going to pick up a lot of ideas for moves and such. I am a dancing fool by the way... Yeah I am just going to stay home, smoke some chronic and try to get some work done. Maybe even play some records or watch a movie....
