So the opening last night was great. It seems like the only time I feel in my element is at art shows. I dunno why. Maybe because the crowd is so diverse. Anyhow, the art was great. There were quite a few drop dead females but I live in San Diego and beautiful people are all around. Only that these girls at the show actually exuded personality unlike the Barbie clones you see around the city. I actually thought I may have seen a few looking at me which is a change because I usually get little attention if any at all. Its weird because, when I do get any attention it is usually the older women that dish it out. Most of them being 28-32. I guess they just like me cause I look young and fresh..hahaha : P I almost wish some girl would just use me or see just as a piece of meat cause this boy is pretty lonely and repressed at the moment... USE ME PLEASE..tehehe OK nuff of that. So I ended up meeting a lot of the newer people working at the museum and one in particular was very curious about my art work. The shows focus on up and coming artist (I dont consider myself one). It would be cool though to show at the MOCA. I know the girl who used to be the PR person for them. Maybe she can give me some pointers. I also spoke to the person who books the music and she had booked me in the past to DJ at one of their shows. I am going to give her and a few of the other employees some mix cds and hopefully I can DJ at one of the next shows. I better get on it because this is actually more of a solid possibility than showing my art. So that was a blast. I had a few beers there and then headed to work the last 10hr overnight shift of the week. 50hrs / five 10hr shifts. Needless to say I am dead. So I got into work and killed my good mood as soon as I got in. There was soooo much work and who was it all left for? Me. Thats who. John Michael Garcia = Kinkos bitch!!! Its over now and I have the next 3 days off in which I plan to build a website, create 3 flyers for a club I am working with and if possible create the initial design for another website that is in the works. One site (Tipton Guitars) is for a custom guitar maker and the other (Bad Baby) is for a baby clothing company with an edge. So I get off work and then go straight to work again. Fun. Today I am just going to rest and party. First my roomie and I are headed to Electro Luxe. Its a new bi-monthly night in SD featuring no-wave, electro-punk and synthpop. I cant wait for that. Then we are going to Dragon Lounge. It is a monthly night featuring great Jungle, breaks and UK Garage. I need some social interaction and tonight will feed my need....yawn Excuse my no rest ranting. I am getting sleepy....must finish typingzzz.zzz.zz
