On my way to work this morning I saw a deer that was struck by a vehicle. It was lying in the middle of the road still alive but bleeding out of its mouth and looked like it was about to die. It made me very sad to see something like that but it also made me wonder why I don't get so sad when I hear about all the killings and bombings floods murders that go in in the world. Have I become desensitized to the what is going on? I would like to think not but perhaps I am. I'm just sad today I guess.
