Comic Genius wins the Nobel Prize!

Stan "the man" Lee

The scientific, and indeed the rest of the world was stunned today by the announcement that Stan Lee, noted philanthropist, sex therapist, and creator of Marvel Comics, won the Nobel Prize for Physics today.

The controversial figure, who, in 1978, entered the Guinness Book of Records for sitting in a vat of baked beans for 72 days, won the award for his work on the Big Bounce theory. Noted scientific correspondent Tiberius Felch explains."Well, everybody's heard of the Big Bang, but this idea says that before that, there was another universe, which collapsed to form the beginning of the Big Bang."

The "Big Bounce" model - a right royal head-fuck to anyone with an IQ below 178

He continues, "Abhay Ashtekar has been working on this, and made significant progress in 2006, and then one of his junior staff showed him Fantastic Four #48, which introduces the character Galactus, the Eater of Worlds. When we investigated further, it was discovered this being was the only survivor of this previous universe, and the Big Bounce theory was well documented in 1966. It was a bit of a kick in the nuts to Abhay, I can tell you."

Galactus - the universes hardest bastard

Abhay Ashtekar had this to say. "Fuckwhorebitchcunttwatfuckfuckfuck."

Stan Lee himself, interviewed whilst training for the US Olympic fencing train, downplayed the announcement. "Well, it came about during a drunken piss-up with "Nutter" Albert Einstein. We were drinking Snakebite and Jack, and it just came to me. Alby was pretty miffed, I can tell you, and wanted to write a joint paper, but I was in the middle of creating Doctor Octopus, and obviously, that had to come first. I'd almost forgot about that old idea, to be honest."

I wasn't surprised by the selection, though I felt that his partner, Tim Allen, had not been payed his dues for his contribution to the study.
