New year

a time to look to the future, and aim for the stars. And for once, that is what Im gonna do. I have been dwelling on things for too long, giving into my weaknesses and addictions, without and plan, without hope.

that will change. I have changed. I have a plan. Its a secret and cunning plan, and it belongs to me. I only have to find out if I have the stones to do it. I hope I have. Ive been concentrating on my failures so much over the last couple of years, I forgot about my strengths, and what I can do when I put my mind to it.

I look at the world around me, and realise how lucky I am. I live in a time when we know more about the world than ever before, and its possible in my lifetime, that we will know everything. The glory of humanity astounds me, and I think its well past time to take advantage of the all that is open to us, but denied to those who came before us. And if the religious are right, and we live in the end times, well, Im glad I was around to see it. And it gives me a secret thrill to know I may beat the odds.

anyway, enough of my rambling thoughts. Im off to London tomorrow. 3 days of decadence and vice in the greatest city in the world.
