Time slips away.

Every moment is precious. But they slip away like grains of sand, lost forever. I look at what Ive lost, loves, friends, family, any future, any dreams, happiness.

I look towards the new year, knowing everything I do drives a wedge between me and anybody who loves me, knowing Ill be losing my job soon, which also means Ill be losing my home soon, and will end up having thrown away all I once had. I know all this, and still cant stop myself.

I look to the new year, and see an uncertain future.

And I smile.
