So, here I am, on a Monday night, supping a very nice red (Caliza Tempranillo Cabernet Sauvignon for those interested) and watching ER (well, ER is on in the background). I'm a bit concerned about the amount I'm drinking, can't remember a night I haven't had some alcohol recently. Oh well, these things happen.

Had a good weekend. Went to the Tattoo Vs Street Art convention at the Cool Exchange in Cardiff on Saturday. Saw many amazing pieces of tattoo art, wandered around the stalls talking shop. Had a fantastic hot dog (well, not quite true. Hot dogs always turn out to be a bit rubbish, they promise so much, while delivering so little), Saw the exquisite lolliepop from afar, and convinced both my gf and my sister to have tattoos, so got to see them both squirm. For my part, since I didn't feel like getting a tattoo (I'm gonna finish my back one first, will put on some pictures when I can work out how to work the digital camera), I had my nipple pierced. Yeymy first piercing! Still not quite sure about it yet, but I think I'm coming to like it. Finished off the day with a shocking amount of white Russians.

Sunday was spent watching a fair amount of Deadwood, since I introduced my sister to it. I then cooked her a farewell lunch, as she's off to university next week. I'm glad she's going, but I'm gonna miss having her around. But I don't doubt she'll be back soon, probably on the lookout for money. And it'll be nice to know the food in my cupboard will be there when I get home.
