I must say, it is nice having a cool older brother who is broke. We lived together a few years back and he had all this kick ass shit. Now that he is married and broke, he is selling me all this stuff for pennies on the dollar. A few months back he sold me his sony surround sound and yesterday, I got his direct drive turntabel. Fucking kick ass. I did not have time yet to hook it up but i should after today.

As per usual, my job is sucking the life right out of me, but i'm keeping my eyes open for something new. Not a lot I can do with a fucking music degree. I can get a job at a recording studio but most are not full time. I need someone to pay my medical bills. They might be in NY or LA but i am having trouble paying bills now. I have no cash to move.

I am performing the fucking Lord of the Rings Symphony with the cleveland Orchestra next week. Its being conducted by the guy who wrote it for the movie, Howard Shore. I have heard that he is a real tool, but we'll just see. I do not really enjoy the piece though. All we do is add a tone colur to the sound by our voices, a lot of "oo's" and "ah's"

But Bach is next, then I got asked to sub for the Kah Nedre (sp?), then the last show is some Veridi, I think.

I did not get accepted to call backs for Chanticleer. Bummer. I must say that i procrastinated (sp?) again this year. So when i recorded it, (the day before it was due across the US) i just did a few takes and that was it. No, listening to it saying, "well that sucked." I did listen to it, and i did say, "well that sucked," but had no time to rerecord anything. My mistake.

Anyfuck...work is slow now but i'm sure will pick up...
