Let it run. Take your time from
Chin on wrist, watching the twist
Of persuasion; mother dreaming
In a gown, beggar judging production,
Father bending at the throat to quote
A cough. Sometimes I wonder

What meadow in the water, underneath?

Sentiment. Firmament. Cherubs tempt
The Japanese: believe.

You hollow bastard. You one million victories.

You carry weight, arrive to find
The statue broken. The...

I really wish that I had some advice for you, but seeing that I'm not in a very happy place myself at the moment, I'm finding that to be very difficult.

I wish I had your way with words...

Hoping today is a better day for you! kiss

I know how to deal with it if it's caused by anything but chemicals.. Then it's just hopeless, and have to resort to Vicodin. Even had to go to the ER it was so bad, once.

Denial is the worst. I wish there could be a national be-honest-with-yourself day and that people actually would. Could you imagine?

It's good you're doing what you like, especially now. Learning how to keep yourself company, huh? Not many people know how to do that.

Take care, be good to yourself.

Something, I'm sure,
Akin to trance, a soul-shy

Oh yes, I completely live by the phrase "this too will pass"..

Nothing gets me down for too long.. been through awful things and came out the other side, so, there's never any point in getting too worked up about things, because they will change, eventually, too..

Hah, now if only I could make my boss think that way.

She walked in and stood where the light stood. There were surfaces like dentistry if a forest would smile.

Her eyes passed through the dust, passing slowly like stone would; glacial, but thawing defiantly in slowest-motion. A potion met her arms; laughter divided laughter: something like happiness held lungless inbetween breathing.

I knew the lure I lost, swallowed my legs to breed stillness. Still, I...

That is exactly the way I feel!

Thanks for the compliment on my paintings. Those definately are not my best, but they were being put in storage and I wanted to at least have pictures of them.

I don't paint nearly as much as I used to.

You should be happy with it. It's beautiful.

Yeah, I'd love to share some work with yas.

I only have one piece where I am, a smallish study for a large painting called 'mothersdayeveryday' from the 'Gothic Camoflauge' series. I can maybe photo it and post it, but all I got is el cheapo digital, so it might not look so great, but I'll try.

In one of your photos I noticed a painting behind you that was sorta brownish-ochre with calligraphic markings strategically dispersed in the field. Who did that one?
pygmy:
Do what you can, a lot of my photos are with a shitty camera, but natural lighting helps a lot.

The painting in these photos? Jason did that.

Thanks for sharing.

That's tough. I've known people like that. It is stifling. I can't handle people that view everyone they encounter as extentions of their selves. My mom was like that.
I've been through a few "thaws" myself, I know what it's like.. Liberating but frustrating, a lot of bouncing between extremes. No wonder you like abstract expressionism so much wink Born of the same thing, basically, but on a bigger cultural scale.
Reminds me how lucky I am: Jason is so supportive. He's less than a year younger than you, but he's definitely not stuck in his ways like that, and he respects that and gives me space. Even silly little things like understanding why I flirt on here (I never really had a chance to do that kind of thing). I help him explore too, and we're constantly exploring together. You know, it's amazing how much having someone you can be totally honest with allows you to be so much more honest with yourself.
I hope you find the same for yourself some day. I'm glad you've decided to move on, you deserve to have that kind of freedom.

Take care kiss

Hm, I found out relatively recently that "humble pie" doesn't have anything to do with humility, but is a bastardization of "umble pie" which refers to the umbilical cords of various animals which were baked in pies (which bespeaks to a certain degree of desperation, obviously)

Once again, no wonder people died sooner. But actually, that is misinformation, It was not uncommon for people to live to 100 even, say, 200 years ago.. the only reason the average (ie, mean) lifespan is longer now is because of less infant mortality.

And yes, that's us smile kiss I have other random videos, but I think that's my favorite of them. Makes me miss home, but in a good way smile

In your profile... What other minimalist classical do you like? Do you like ol' Arvo?
pygmy:
Arvo Prt.

I have not heard anything by Glenn Branca, maybe I'll find it at the library. smile

The problem with minimalist classical especially is that it's so performance-sensitive, recordings are so hit-or-miss. It's compounded by the fact that for whatever reason it tends to attract pretentious musicians, which always comes through in recordings. I got frustrated with wading through all of it and haven't been trying to listen to new stuff lately.
